Partout, nos récits, nos imaginaires, nos rêves, donnent forme aux milieux dans lesquels nous vivons, à nos habitats.
Cette première exposition du collectif Tramages à la galerie Mémoire de l’Avenir invite à l’exploration d’écosystèmes terrestres, urbains, périurbains et ruraux à différentes échelles - depuis des topographies micro-bactériennes jusqu’à la voix d’une des dernières forêts primaires en Europe - et selon plusieurs temporalités - humaines, géologiques, mythologiques, climatiques, végétales, etc.
Les travaux présentés, en se croisant et en se répondant, interrogent plus largement l’empreinte humaine, matérielle et immatérielle, locale et globale, sur ces mondes. Nos discours, nos actions, modifient irrémédiablement les équilibres du vivant. Comment nos imaginaires peuvent-ils habiter les territoires sans les exploiter au détriment des êtres qui y vivent ?
Comment faire avec ces palimpsestes, ces sédiments, physiques et culturels ? Comment se libérer de cet héritage et désapprendre les schémas stériles, pour retisser nos liens avec nos frères et sœurs humain•e•s ainsi que le plus qu'humain ?
Ce sont ces questionnements qui traversent les œuvres de l’exposition, réalisées individuellement ou en binôme par les huit membres du collectif. Mises en résonance par la scénographie, elles ouvrent des fenêtres vers des mondes proches et lointains, présents et à venir. Comme autant de façons de redessiner nos cartographies mentales afin de les ouvrir à d’autres horizons plus fertiles.
De la Haute-Loire et ses légendes à la toundra arctique en passant par l’humus picard, des bas pays face aux montées des eaux jusqu’aux débordements de la Seine, le collectif Tramages nous invite à altérer nos visions, à traverser des frontières invisibles, à habiter d’autres rives.
Au cours des trois semaines d’exposition et en lien avec elle, un cycle de 20hd’ateliers sera proposé par les artistes du collectif à des publics précaires, en partenariat avec l’association Autremonde et la galerie Mémoire de l’Avenir dans des expérimentations d’écologie urbaine afin d’offrir des outils cartographiques aux particpant•e•s dans la réappropriation de leur quartier.

This series of photopolymer prints printed by Taylor Alaina Liebenstein Smith, integrating text from the poems Geography of Transparencies and The moons is a place by Christopher Alexander Kostrisky Gellert, is part of an ongoing project which questions our relationship to the disappearance of diverse life forms as we continue to collect and preserve specimens in vitrines and cages. It is an invitation to let go of our domination of other species, to forego collection and to blur our vision. Layers of text and image are conceived as geographic strata that mediate between what is hidden beneath the earth’s surface, and the transformation of this energy as it emerges from the ground.

Les cartographie sensibles de ETGS sont une série d'œuvres qui bravent les conventions de la cartographie, afin d’en exploiter sans contraintes son potentiel esthétique et cognitif. Avec leur rigueur scientifique et leur esprit ludique, elles explorent des terrains différents, en témoignant la complexité du paysage apparemment le plus simple.

Leur priorité n’est pas l’exactitude de la représentation à l’échelle, mais la possibilité d’élaborer librement une synthèse des connaissances scientifiques et des éléments observés, offrant des points de vue inédits et des regards novateurs. 
Les cartographies sensibles d’ETGS, avec les dessins et les légendes facétieuses qu’elles contiennent, visent à aller au plus près du mystérieux foisonnement de tout espace naturel et des ses rapports avec les êtres humains.

Quand toucher devient un risque pour l’un·e comme pour l’autre, comment peut-on remémorer nos relations intimes à l’heure de la distanciation sociale ? Quand se retrouver - c’est se contaminer - quelles modes actions nous sont désormais possibles pour récupérer notre proximité ?À partir d’une collecte de témoignages des gestes manqués des étudiant·e·s, enseignant·e·s personnel et de l’Université Paris 8, nous avons créé une archive sonore des ces témoignages et les avons inscrit sur le sol du campus afin d'inviter les passant·e·s de les traverser en dansant.

Laurine Wagner développe un projet de création-recherche depuis
2019 qui s’intitule Fugitive World. Cette œuvre est une
installation interactive, vidéographique et sonore en cours de
réalisation. Il s’agit d’un mémorial anticipé qui allie art,
science et société pour interroger la problématique de la montée
des eaux, de la résilience (humaine, urbaine), des actions ou
innovations mises en place et des potentielles migrations qui

Cet
état des lieux international permet de découvrir des entretiens
menés par l’artiste plasticienne et chercheuse, de personnes
qu’elle a rencontrées au cours de voyages et de résidences
artistiques, mais aussi des enregistrements de lieux, qui sont et
seront amenés à disparaître en raison de l’élévation du niveau
des eaux. En longeant le littoral, elle enquête, sonde les
consciences et sensibilités de chacun pour sensibiliser autant de
personnes que possible à l’urgence d’agir à la fois,
individuellement et collectivement.


Fugitive
World est composé à ce jour d’une cinquantaine de témoignages
réalisés dans plusieurs lieux aux Pays-Bas (Hoek van Holland, La
Haye, Katwijk aan Zee, Leiden, Leiderdorp, Steigereiland à
Amsterdam), en Italie à Venise, dans le Nord de la France
(Dunkerque, Ambleteuse, Wissant, Wimereux, Berck-sur-mer, Groffliers,
Saint-Malo) ou à la Martinique (Sainte-Luce, Le Prêcheur, Le
François).

Cet
 archipel est une mutation de Villes Verrières, un déplacement dans 
l’espace et dans le temps. Cette maquette fragmentée, naufragée dérive 
sur une mer de sable. Elle craque nos idéaux pour dévoiler leur 
matérialité.
Ville
 Verrières propose une maquette - un schéma - pour une ville à la fois 
idéalisée (une ‘cité radieuse’, version numérique) et dystopique dans 
son absence de vie animée et la colonisation de l’espace urbain par les 
données. Archipel désert défait ces plans -ces projections- et interroge
 la sortie de la maquette de la vitrine et son insertion dans un 
territoire -- sa vie et son vieillissement dans un contexte réel (rêvé).

Ce triptyque de villes mêle le béton aux récits et aux images. Elles se cristallisent à partir d'impressions de textures de végétaux et du texte de Christopher Alexander Kostritsky Gellert. Elles interrogent la place et (ou l'absence) des êtres vivants et la colonisation de l'espace urbain par les données et les réseaux informatiques. Ces villes-artefacts sont déracinées du corps terrestre, elles laissent apparaître leurs fondations bétonnées et l'empreinte de la terre qui les porte. Révélant aussi cet espace non visible, Villes Verrières questionne la ramification de nos désirs urbains et de l'entopie.

Le jour d’après, dans quel monde se réveillera t-on ?Pendant notre confinement les vers des vers ont travaillé ardemment en creusant des sillons dans l'espace-temps ; ils nous ont laissé des mots. À leur recherche, nous avons filmé et suivi leurs traces en parcourant les sentiers Montrougiens.Ils se sont installés ça et là dans les rues de la ville dans l’attente des jours à venir. Ces présages d’un futur proche ou lointain étaient interprété·e·s par les lecteur·trice·s de la médiathèque et les participant·e·s aux ateliers d’écriture, qui ont invoqué l’avenir en quelques mots.Avis de recherche ! D’autres vers se sont échappés et continuent à se frayer des chemins dans la ville. Alors gardez les yeux ouverts. Si au détour d’un chemin vous retrouvez leur trace, notez-la, emparez-vous d’elle, gardez-la et envoyez-nous un mot ! versdesvers@gmail.comVenez avec !
